Welcome to Swedenborg Chapel’s “Church Life” page.
Our congregation was founded as the Cambridge Society of the New Jerusalem, and we worship at the Swedenborg Chapel. After more than 100 years, we are still a vibrant worshiping and learning congregation made up of a diverse collection of creative, thoughtful individuals. We seek to examine our lives through the prism of a progressive, biblically centered Christian theology. The ultimate goal: to become more loving people by living heavenly lives, and to bring good to the lives of the people around us—the neighbor who is to be loved.
We at Swedenborg Chapel believe that Christ’s love comes in many forms—that we become better people by learning how to live and not simply what to think. We do this through worship, education,
and fellowship. Please join us!
