Theme Introduction/conversation starter
Each forum document will have at least two readings from the Bible.
The second page contains various references to the theological writings of Emanuel Swedenborg. They can be used for sermon reflection or for group discussion.
The Tafel forum project started as an outgrowth of a Sunday morning discussion group. Rev. Tafel would hand out the Bible verses and passages from Swedenborg for people to read. Eventually, people asked if they could have a bit more context for discussion purposes, so a theme introduction was added. upon his retirement from Swedenborg Chapel, he realized he had all of these great lectionary resources and wanted to make them available to as many people as possible.
